Louisville Real Estate Charts for April 2015

Map of Louisville MLS AreasWelcome to our Louisville real estate charts for April 2015. Home sales were relatively on par with the previous year, all except for Area 8 which decided to spurt higher.

Home values are also improving, as expected, while we move into the Summer. The biggest gain coming in North Oldham which saw the median home sale price for April spike to $400,000.

Charts of Louisville home sales and Louisville home prices for Highlands MLS area 2 for the 12 month period ending April 2015.
Area 2 saw significant gains in median sale price for the month of April. This while home sales also improved, signifying a strong performance.

Probably the worst performing area in our Monthly Survey, was Area 3 where both metrics saw declines in April though nothing too troubling.

Positive improvement in both areas for Area 6, especially values which saw their highest 12-month number since September.

Solid both in both sales and sale prices for Area 7 thought nothing too remarkable.

Home sales in Area 8 have been off the charts (not literally) the last two months even when comparing them against a strong 2014. The trend-line for values are steadily moving higher as well.

Prices had been moving higher but April took them the other direction in this area. Also a disappointing month for sales after three very solid months.

Crazy high spike for home values in Area 20 could mark a push for luxury homes that had been somewhat declined with new construction taking a seat on the bench. Numbers were down however.

Charts of Louisville home sales and Louisville home prices for South Oldham County MLS area 21 for the 12 month period ending April 2015.
Sales just missed matching the previous year while home values in this area continue to move higher and higher.
