Just when you least expect it, 2014 Louisville home sales surprise you with a great June!
This Louisville real estate chart shows all the home sales for Jefferson County by month for the past 6 years. It’s important to remember to compare a month’s performance with the same month of the previous year, not the month that we just finished.
Sales in June 2014 beat the previous year 1,069 to 1,009. I bet you didn’t see that coming?!
For the month of July, we came up a bit short when 1,004 Louisville homes were sold for the month, compared to 1,102 homes that were sold during July 2013. That’s a decrease of 8.9%.
For the year, 2014 is 5.5% behind the sales totals for the previous year. It’s not impossible to surpass it but highly unlikely.
