After dipping in June and July, Louisville home sales took the lead in August 2016.
It was a bounce back month!
Home sales in August improved well enough to surpass the previous year. There were 1,127 properties sold in Jefferson County for the month. This is a 3.8% increase and pushes the 2016 advantage to 3.38% year-to-date.

Home sales are starting to slow down from their Summer highs. They will continue to cool as we head now into Fall and then Winter.
Given that we’re so close in sales totals, from this year to last, it will be interesting to see if 2016 can maintain this slim advantage.
